Records indicate Langford failed to file $60,000 in donations

Well this could cramp his style a bit should Lorenzo Langford decide to run for New Jesey Senate. The Atlantic City mayor is accused of failing to disclose more than $60,000 in in-kind donations to his campaign.

The Election Law Enforcement Commission uncovered the misstep, which involves a $62,000 inaugural ball hosted by the Voters United for New Jersey and Citizens First. Langford also hasn’t filed a campaign finance report since October.

Langford told Politicker NJ his reports have been filed correctly, but said his treasurer handles the finances and went on to suggest potential opponent Sen. Jim Whelan has been spreading misinformation. It’s not clear who donated to the ball thrown by the PACs.
