Reactions to bin Laden’s death, School District readies for City Council budget hearing

    Tomorrow the Philadelphia School District goes before City Council for a budget hearing. We probably don’t need to tell you anything more. Tom MacDonald is hoping to talk to some council members today leading up to the hearing.

    The museum at the University of Pennsylvania opened this weekend an exhibit of Afghanistan war rugs woven with symbols, scenes and faces of the war. Peter Crimmins will check it out for more information on the rugs and the artists to get some background on the exhibit.
