Ramsey confirms he’d consider Chicago job

As of yet, Charles Ramsey has not been offered a job in Chicago. But he’s thinking about it. He’s talked to Chicago Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel about it. Our police commissioner is entertaining thoughts about returning home.  Can you blame him?

There have been plenty of reports about Ramsey considering a move to Chicago. Nothing’s for sure except that Michael Nutter doesn’t want to see him go.

Reviews are mixed here, as reviews of all police commissioners tend to be. Some have praised Ramsey for exposing police corruption; others say he hasn’t done enough to lower the crime rate. If you’re going to get mixed reviews, wouldn’t you at least rather be in your home town?
