Put on the red light

Starting January 1, two more Philadelphia intersections will have red light cameras, which snap photos of light-running scofflaws’ license plates.  The Philadelphia Parking Authority says intersections at Aramingo Avenue and York Street and Aramingo and Castor Avenue will join the 17 other intersections enforced by the cameras.  The PPA notes there will be a two month grace period (where drivers will only be issued warnings) before the agency begins handing out $100 fines.
