PSU Alumni Association town halls open to public—but full

Registration is now closed to the public for a series of town hall meetings with the Penn State president, but the Penn State Alumni Association is trying to live stream the one in New York.

The Feed reported on Wednesday that the Penn State president is scheduled to hold a town hall meeting with PSU alumni in King of Prussia on January 11.

A reader asked if the event is open to the public.

“I am a Penn State parent with three students at Penn State and would like to attend,” she said.

The event is being organized by the Penn State Alumni Association at the Radisson Hotel in Valley Forge. It is in fact open to the public via registration—however registration for this event, and two similar events in Pittsburgh and New York City, has reached maximum capacity and is now closed.

This is the message on the alumni website:

Thank you for your interest in the Alumni Town Hall Meetings. Because of an immediate overwhelming response, we have already reached capacity due to space restrictions of the room at this location.

The Alumni Association is currently looking into arrangements to live stream the Alumni Town Hall Meeting in New York City on Friday, Jan. 13. We will post information as it’s available on the Alumni Association website at www.alumni.psu.edu.

    Thank you.
