Princeton scraps plans for Arts and Transit neighborhood

After five years of planning and persistent opposition from neighborhood organization, Princeton University has decided to nix its proposed Arts and Transit neighborhood.
As the Daily Princetonian reports, the decision came at last night’s borough council meeting, where plans to move Dinky train station to accommodate access to other buildings were met with ire from residents.

The university will look for other ways to develop arts facilities on available land.
