Preserving family treasures is the topic of a meeting tonight in Dover

Do you have unknown treasures in your attic or basement?  Tonight in Dover, there is an opportunity to get them appraised and to learn more about preserving your family treasures.

Friends of Old Dover present the 2nd annual “Preserving Your Family Treasures” tonight (Wed. Apr. 27th, at 6:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 209 South State Street.  Mike Dixon will discuss “unlocking the history of an old house.”  Appraisals will be available from Jim Kilvington and Eric Wilke, although a limited number of items can be appraised (call 302-741-2329 to see if there is space available).  A $5 donation is suggested for members, a $10 donation for non-members.  Please call 302-741-2329 for more information or e-mail info@friendsofolddover.org
