Prepackaged apple slices recalled due to listeria

New Jersey’s Randy Pac Foods has issued a recall of its prepackaged apple slices after listeria bacteria were found on production equipment.

“The recall covers 36 states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The packaged apple slices are distributed to McDonalds, Burger King, Wawa and Wegmans. The recalled products have use-by dates from July 8th through August 20th,” reports CBS3.

If you’ve bought the recalled products, record the ‘use by’ dates and UPC codes, and call Ready Pack at 800-800-7822.
