Pregnant TV meteorologist fights foes of her appearance
A Philadelphia meteorologist pregnant with twins is fighting back against “haters” critical of her appearance.
Katie Fehlinger of KYW-TV says her only concern is the health of the two girls due in the next few weeks.
Fehlinger says in a Facebook post that the industry makes her an easy target for criticism. But she says it crosses the line to post “nastygrams” about pregnant women.
Her online comments this week have attracted support from thousands of people online.
Fehlinger, a Lehigh Valley native, has been with the station since 2011. She is about 35 weeks pregnant.
