Stunt at Ocean City-Longport Bridge leads to charges

A prank at the Ocean City-Longport Bridge that led to a police water-rescue effort has led to charges for four men.

WPVI-TV reports a boat was waiting when two men jumped from the 65-foot-tall bridge early Monday.

A driver who saw one of the men jump alerted a toll taker.  Police later spotted the boat.

According to WPVI-TV, police say they would have mounted a large search had officers not spotted the boat.
