Philadelphia Police offer $40,000 reward in Society Hill shooting
Philadelphia Police on Monday offered a $40,000 reward in the shooting death of a 32-year-old man found laying face down in the city’s Society Hill neighborhood on July 1.
NBC10 reports the announcement came Monday, as police stood next to the family of Michael Hagan, Jr., the Drexel graduate who was found dead.
Police believe Hagan, who was discovered by people passing by the corner of 4th and Lombard, was the victim of a robbery gone bad. NBC10 reports Hagan’s keys and wallet were both missing when he was found.
The $40,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for his death.
Funds for the reward have been put up by the Citizen’s Crime Commission and New Jersey State Police.
Anyone with information is asked to call Philadelphia Police.
