Portion of Route 37 closed in Manchester due to serious crash

UPDATE (9:00 a.m.): The roadway is now open. There are no delays.
Authorities are investigating a serious crash that occurred on Route 37 in Manchester this morning.
The highway’s eastbound lanes are closed at Colonial Drive, according to an alert from the Manchester Police Department.
Traffic is being rerouted at the Colonial Drive jughandle, the alert said.
Police say to expect delays in the area as the investigation proceeds.
At least one person was taken from the scene around 7:30 a.m. to Manchester High School, where a medevac landed for transport to an area trauma center, according to emergency radio transmissions.
