    Slow and stead, Tom.

A new poll finds Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett’s approval ratings have increased for the first time since he took office in January. The Quinnipiac University survey released today shows a 44 percent approval rating — up from 39 percent.

Overall, 20 percent of respondents to the poll are undecided about the guv, but 51 percent of men surveyed approve. Women still remain divded, as the Associated Press notes, but even though more females surveyed disapprove of Corbett, the approval rating for those who do support him increased from 30 to 36.
