Police: Suspicious phone call at Holmdel school this morning; “all safe”

    UPDATE (10:50 A.M.): According to a tweet from the Township school district, police have lifted the “shelter in place” mode.

    Police in Holmdel are monitoring all township schools this morning after yet another suspicious phone call, authorities said. 

    The call was received at the Village School, an elementary school on McCampbell Road. 

    All school buildings have been placed in “shelter in place” mode, which means that no one may enter or exit any building until police give clearance to resume activity, according to a Holmdel Police Department release.

    All students and staff are safe, police said.
