Police seize 600 heroin doses from Seaside Heights apartment, arrest four

    A investigation into drug dealing in Seaside Heights culminated with the the arrest of four individuals, including a father and daughter, Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato and Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd announced today. 

    Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Operations Group, Northern Enforcement Unit and the Seaside Heights Police Department identified a 2008 GMC Yukon and a 2012 Toyota Camry as being allegedly utilized by Peter Tamburini, 32, Victoria Eves, 32, both of 1215 Ocean Terrace Apartment #1 in Seaside Heights and William Eves Sr., 66, of 1540 Steven Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to store and distribute heroin, according to a release. 

    The partnering agencies located both vehicles behind 1215 Ocean Terrace Apartment #1 during the early afternoon hours of Aug. 7, the release said. Detective subsequently searched both vehicles and the apartment.

    The investigators seized approximately 600 individual dosage units of heroin, roughly $7,500 in cash, and a 100,000-volt stun gun, according to the release. The GMC Yukon was also seized pending forfeiture proceedings.

    Tamburini, William Eves, Sr. and Victoria Eves were arrested and transported to Seaside Heights Police Department for processing. Kenneth Keelen, 32, of 1115 Ocean Terrace in Seaside Heights, who was present during the police investigation, was found to be in possession of heroin. 

    Tamburini was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense. The Honorable Superior Court Judge James Blaney J.S.C. set bail at $100,000 with no ten percent option. He is currently lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River.

    Victoria Eves was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons to appear in court at a future date.

    William Eves, Sr. was charged with possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to distribute. He was released on a summons to appear in court at a future date.

    Keelen was charged with possession of heroin. He was released on a summons to appear in court at a future date.
