Police search for home invasion suspect with Halloween mask

Police in suburban Philadelphia are searching for a man who broke into a home in the middle of the night wearing a Halloween mask, tied up a woman and threatened her with a stun gun.

Tredyffrin Township Police say the woman awoke around 1 a.m. Saturday to find someone at the foot of her bed wearing an oversize mask of a man’s face with exaggerated features. Police say he told the woman to be quiet and tied her up with duct tape.

Police say he ransacked the Wayne home, stealing jewelry, electronics and the victim’s car. He demanded her ATM card and PIN number, threatening her with a stun gun.

The woman’s car was later found abandoned at a nearby commuter rail station.
