Police say vehicle description in Old City beating death could be wrong

It was late, it was dark, and more attention was probably being paid to the 23-year-old being beaten than to the car his attackers were in.

That’s why Philadelphia Police now say the description of the vehicle being sought in connection with the weekend attacks could be wrong. Action News reports the four suspects wanted for beating Kevin Kless to death at Fourth and Chestnut streets might not have been in a maroon or red sedan as was previously described.
But the description of the assailants stands. Kless was attacked early Saturday morning as he tried to hail a cab. The suspects may have thought Kless’ exchange with the cab driver was directed toward them.
