Police: Nine kids hurt in Delaware school bus crash

    Police say nine children were taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a crash involving a school bus and a car in Wilmington.

    Wilmington police spokesman Cpl. Mark Ivey tells The News Journal that a Nissan sedan hit the school bus on West Fourth Street on Friday morning.

    Ivey says nine children were taken to Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children for unspecified, minor injuries.

    The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
