Police make murder arrest on what was thought to be a ‘Kensington Strangler’ case

Allison Edwards was found strangled to death in Kensington last winter, leading authorities to believe she’d been murdered, like other women, by the Kensington Strangler.

But following the arrest of another man, police have announced that Edwards was not a victim of Antonio Rodriguez. Instead, as Action News reports, 40-year-old William Walton of West Philadelphia.

Edwards was found dead in December 2010 as police searched for the elusive Strangler. They later arrested 22-year-old Rodriguez and charged him with three murders.
