Police arrest local suspect for Bustleton burglaries

Police have arrested the suspect wanted in connection with three burglaries in Bustleton in late January and early February.

Salvatore Sicilian, 25, has been arrested for robbing two homes on the 1900-block of Nester Street on January 29, and a home on the 9300-block of Hoff Street February 5.

Sicilian, who lives just a block away on the 1900-block of Goodnaw Street, reportedly stole money, jewelry and frozen food from one of the Nester Street homes, and more than $6,000 worth of goods from the Hoff Street residence.

The list of charges against Sicilian are as follows:

  • 3 counts of burglary
  • 3 counts of criminal trespassing
  • 3 counts of theft/unlawful taking
  • 2 counts of receiving stolen property
  • 1 count of criminal mischief
