Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last week in Sea Isle City.

According to a release from the Sea Isle City Police Department, officers responded to the 300 block of 47th Place shortly after 3 a.m. last Thursday on a report of a robbery.

Responding officers discovered that one black female and two masked males believed to be black entered a residence, produced a handgun, and bound a person to a chair in the garage, the release said.

They then ransacked the house and fled in an unknown vehicle after being confronted by the victim’s father upon entering an upstairs bedroom, police said.
