Police: 3-year-old boy critically injured in hit-and-run

    Philadelphia police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck a 3-year-old child.

    Authorities say the boy was struck by someone driving a black SUV at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, at 53rd and Chestnut Streets in West Philadelphia.

    The unidentified boy was taken to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and is listed in critical condition, station KYW reports.

    Investigators are looking at surveillance video from the scene to try and identify the car.
