Revelers will celebrate Mother Nature in Point Boro Saturday.

The borough’s Environmental Commission will host its 11th annual Earth Day Celebration at Riverfront Park on River Road. From noon until 4 p.m., guests will enjoy activities, games and rides for kids, food and drinks by local vendors, and live music. Vendors of green products and ideas, environmental organizations, and local and small businesses will be on hand.

“We’re trying to instill environmentally responsible ideas and practices into our younger generations,” said commission member Chris Constantino.

Anyone interested in a monetary donation to the commission is asked to contact Constantino at pointboroec@gmail.com with the title “2015 Earth Day Inquiry.” All donations support the commission’s offerings, including the festival and scholarship.
