Piazza murder trial goes to jury Wednesday

With closings arguments expected today, the Piazza murder trial will go to the jury tomorrow.

Keith Epps, Edward Daniels and Antonio Wright are charged with felony murder and face life in prison without parole. They’ve been accused of killing Rian Thal and Timothy Gilmore during an attempted robbery in Thal’s Northern Liberties apartment in 2009.

The Inquirer reports lawyers for the three men didn’t call any witnesses for the trial, and the three men didn’t testify in their own defense.
