In photos: Reading Terminal Market unveils ‘Avenue D’ renovations

    Mayor Michael Nutter was on hand Monday to mark the completion of $3.4 million worth of renovations at Philadelphia’s historic Reading Terminal Market.

    Monday’s Avenue D Renovation Project ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the start of a weeklong celebration to unveil the results of the renovation project. They include upgraded public spaces, a demonstration kitchen and new restrooms.

    This week’s schedule includes a series of events at noon and 5 p.m. through Saturday.
