At least some residents of Hatboro, Upper and Lower Moreland, Abbington, Cheltenham, Upper Dublin and Horsham are affected.
In case of emergency, Montgomery County officials are urging residents to try the 9-1-1 number first.
If that doesn’t work, they’re instructing people to go to their local police, fire or Emergency Medical Services Department.
