Phoenixville District warns of company soliciting business for unauthorized sports calendar
The Phoenixville Area School District has a contract with 5 Star Sports to produce a sports calendar.
It does not, however, have such a contract with Signature Sports. Which is why the district is warning local businesses that Signature Sports is soliciting business under the pretense the company is producing the district’s calendar.
“The PASD has not authorized this company to produce a calendar, we have received no copies, nor have we received any monies from Signature Sports,” reads a release from the district. “Any businesses receiving a solicitation from Signature Sports should immediately contact the Phoenixville Police Department at 610-933-1188.”
If you get a call asking for a PASD athletics donation and want to verify the request, the district recommends calling Athletic Director Tony Palladino at 484-927-5130.
