Phoenixville Area School District will sell off extra furniture

    Is this “Phoenixville Christmas”?

A new administrative wing at the Phoenixville Area School District building means all the excess furniture and equipment has got to go.

The district is selling off its extra stuff to the public, but not before the library and other borough-based nonprofits have a crack at it.

Organizations interested in free stuff get a look at the stash 30 minutes before everyone else shows up with their wallets in hand, as the Phoneix reports. The sale is cash and carry, items are as-is and there are no refunds.

The items will be ready for sale next Tuesday and Wednesday at district buildings.
