Seriously, Wheel of Fortune? In celebration of the show’s Travel Week, a series of city postcards was displayed during the openning credits, with Philadelphia getting premium screenage. But while the card said “Philadelphia,” the picture was all Pittsburgh.
Brownstoner brought this to our attention when a reader submitted a photo of the postcard array. What’s clearly the Pittsburgh skyline is the backdrop of the Philly card. Sigh.
Either someone at the Wheel was a little lazy with the image search, or the two skylines are just that indistinguishable to the rest of the country.
