Philadelphia teen killed near movie film set

A Philadelphia teen was fatally shot just around the corner from where a mob movie titled “Dead Man Down” was scheduled to film a scene less than a day later.

Authorities haven’t released the name of the 18-year-old man fatally shot Monday afternoon on a corner in the city’s Frankford neighborhood.
The teen was shot in the back and side and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Police say three people were taken into custody and a gun was recovered after a witness spotted the shooter run into a home near the scene.

“Dead Man Down,” a mob movie starring Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace, was scheduled to film nearby starting today. It’s already filmed elsewhere in the city.
