PETA praises the Linc

PETA has named the Lincoln Financial Field the the most vegetarian-friendly stadium in the NFL.

“Eagles fans have their choice of many meat-free options, including mock-steak and faux-chicken sandwiches, Gardenburgers, veggie dogs, and spicy black-bean burgers,” a spokesperson said in a release. “The stadium’s premium dining areas offer roasted red pepper hummus and pita chips, veggie wraps, locally farmed vegetable platters, and fresh fruit.”

The Linc is to receive a framed certificate and letter of congratulations from the animal rights group.

According to tripswithpets.com, Philadelphia International Airport is one of the country’s top 10 pet friendly airports. Apparently, we’ve got seven ‘pet relief’ areas – designated spaces for bathroom breaks, water, and leg-stretching for your furry friends.
