Philadelphia considers implementing earlier curfew city-wide

Summer flashmobs prompted Philadelphia to take action earlier this month. The curfew was moved up to 9 p.m. for minors on weekends in Center City and University City.

But now the city is considering extending those tighter curfews throughout the city. The Associated Press reports Deputy Mayor of Pubilc Safety Everett Gillison said during a public hearing today he’s eyeing the option.

Tom MacDonald will have more details for us later on the curfew debate.
