Philadelphia city leaders show support for family of man killed in Mt. Airy

One week ago 23 year-old Nafis Armstead was gunned down in E. Mt. Airy. Tonight Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams, 8th District Councilwoman Cindy Bass, and local District Police Captain Joel Tales paid a visit to Armstead’s family to show support for them and to send the message that gun violence won’t be tolerated in the city.

Another man was also shot in last Friday’s incident and remains in critical condition. Police have one man in custody and are still searching for a second suspect.
