Philadelphia Brewing Co. sells $1 million Powerball ticket

Someone got an extra with their Kenzinger last week. Philadelphia Brewing Co. sold one of two winning lottery tickets drawn Wednesday, and its owner is in for a big payoff.

The ticket, which matched the numbers 03-05-18-27-54 but not the red Powerball 13, is worth $1 million. Fox29 reports the ticket was purchased with  Power Play, which awards $1 million for a match-five prize, less 25-percent federal withholding.

The other ticket was sold in Pittston, Luzerne County and is worth $200,000. PBC will get $5,000 for selling the ticket and Pittston’s Smoker’s Choice will get $500. The winners haven’t been identified yet, but have a year to claim their money.
