Philadelphia-area companies among nation’s fastest-growing

We all tell ourselves Philadelphia is a leader — in art, in food, in business.

But every now and then it’s nice to have some proof.

 

Inc. Magazine has compiled a list of the nation’s fastest-growing business. You can search by company name, industry, region and state, and no matter how you slice it, the Philadelphia metropolitan area is looking pretty good.

Take a look at the list of all the local companies who made the list of 5,000. Doylestown’s re2g is 24th overall, making it the region’s highest-ranking. Montgomery did particularly well, and Plymouth-Whitemarsh Patch has a handy list of all its local companies that made the cut.
