Philabundance extends food drive partnership with SEPTA
You’ve got four more days to contribute to Philabundance’s food drive partnership with SEPTA.
The organization announced today it will extend its “Stop Hunger at Your Station” drive through Friday.
More than 50 transit stations have donation boxes at the ready for the third-annual event, which began Monday, June 6. SEPTA’s goal is to collect 20 tons of food this year — more than the 19.6 tons collected last year.
Here’s a list of some of things you can donate:
canned or shelf stabilized tuna
canned pasta
canned beef ravioli
creamy peanut butter (plastic containers only)
jelly (plastic containers only)
