Pennsylvania lawyers can complete paperwork online

Practicing law in Pennsylvania now involves far fewer paper cuts. The disciplinary board of the state Supreme Court decided today lawyers who practice in Pennsylvania can register and pay fees online, the Associated Press reports.

The state’s 80,000 registered attorneys will receive their registration packets as usual next month, but can register online and opt for an email packet instead next year.

There are about 62,000 active attorneys in the state, each required to pay $200 annually for registration. Inactive lawyers pay $70 every year, and all the money funds the funds the disciplinary board.
