Penn State QB released from hospital after apparent fight in locker room
Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin was released from the hospital after being involved in an apparent locker room fight.
University police told the Associated Press they were called to a locker room on campus on the report of a fight between the starting quarterback and backup receiver Curtis Drake.
According to the Associated Press, McGloin’s father told the Patriot-News of Harrisburg and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette his son suffered a seizure and a possible concussion.
In a Penn State statement released Saturday, the school says McGloin was treated and released.
“Campus police and Penn State’s Office of Student Conduct will investigate the incident and report results as they would for any other student involved in an incident on campus,” the university statement read.
