Paterno injured after fall at home, fractures pelvis

Former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno injured himself after a fall from his home Saturday.

The Associated Press reports the former coach slipped Saturday and was admitted to the hospital the next day. According to the report, Paterno fractured his pelvis, but the injury will not require surgery.

Paterno is also undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for what his family has said is a treatable form of lung cancer.

Paterno will turn 85 later this month.
