PATCO to continue quiet car experiment

Train passengers can continue to ride in relative silence between southern New Jersey and Philadelphia.

PATCO says it will extend its quiet car experiment until customers have a chance to evaluate the program in an online survey.
The agency has asked passengers since March to limit cellphone use to silent texting and games, play music through headphones and keep conversations to a whisper.

The online survey will be available at PATCO’s website for three weeks.
