Pastorius Park Concert Series kicks off Wednesday night: Why you should go!

You know it’s truly summer (if not officially summer) when the concerts are back in Pastorius Park! This year marks the 65th season of this community favorite for all ages, and the line-up consists of many crowd pleasers:

June 19 Suzie BrownJune 26 The John Byrne BandJuly 3 The Dukes of DestinyJuly 10 Aaron & The SpellJuly 17 Cheers ElephantJuly 24 Phyllis Chapell & SIORAJuly 31 John Train

The great thing about these concerts is that whether or nor your style of music is on tap for the evening, it’s just plain fun being there… listening to good music, feasting on a picnic dinner, watching kids run around the lake, and seeing people of all ages dance in the grassy mosh pit (ok, we might be the only ones who think of the front of the ampitherater at as a mosh pit)… it’s all happy outdoor fun.

Click here for more info. about each band.  Concerts start at 7:30pm and run every Wednesday night from now until the end of July.  Bring the kids, some picnic food (or buy snacks at the stand), and a blanket or chairs to enjoy the evening..
