Passing showers, t-storms possible as cold front sweeps through this afternoon

    After a pleasant morning, clouds are building ahead of a cold front shortly before noon today.

    Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon hours as the front approaches, according to the National Weather Service. 

    Forecasters say the cold front will be offshore by the early evening hours, with any remaining showers or thunderstorms ending by mid-evening.

    Clouds will then dissipate dring the overnight hours.
