Parkway Run undereway in Philadelphia

There may be some rain in the forecast today, but it certainly wasn’t enough to stop runners from taking part in the 5K run along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, all part of the Four Seasons Parkway Run & Walk.

Runners began to register as early as 7:00 a.m. this morning for the run and walk.  The 5K was scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a family walk.

An award ceremony and raffle drawing was scheduled to take place at 9:45 a.m.

The run and walk benefits cancer research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
