Parents want to know missing Mt. Airy teen is OK

    It’s been three weeks since their son went missing and now Hakim and Elena Franklin are considering hiring a private investigator. The couple believe it’s possible their son Aaron, 18, ran away when he left their house Jan. 13. The pressures of transferring from the now-closed Cardinal Dougherty High School to Bishop McDevitt were weighing on him, but they thought things were turning around.

    Aaron Moselle spoke with the family about their son and the difficulties they faced filing a missing persons report.
