Parents, lawyers to speak about girl who fell from Ferris Wheel

This afternoon, the parents of Abiah Jones will join their attorneys for a news conference about the death of their 11-year-old daughter after a fall from Wildwood’s Ferris Wheel.

Jones’ June 3 death has sparked a call for tighter rider restrictions on the well-known Shore attraction, but a preliminary report says there appeared to be nothing abnormal about the ride or its mechanics the day Jones fell.

Lizz Fiedler will have more details for us from the attorneys.
