Paper covering China’s economy and arts scene being circulated in Rittenhouse

Depending on where you live in Philadelphia, you could open your door on any given morning to find a free newspaper. It could be an alt weekly, or maybe a neighborhood newsletter.

If you live around Rittenhouse Square, it’s probably the China Daily.

An English-language paper covering the Chinese economy, arts trends and more is popping up on stoops around the Square, as the Daily News reports.

The idea is to get people interested in the Chinese news with the hopes they’ll become subscribers. Other U.S. offices can be found in D.C., New York, Seattle and San Francisco.
