Palmyra approves ordinance to ban parking on lawns

Palmyra residents have six months to figure out where to park now that their lawns are off-limits. That’s when the borough will begin enforcing its ordinance that prohibits parking on grass.

Adopted Monday, the measure outlines specifically, as noted by PhillyBurbs, what constitutes a driveway. One exception: strip driveways that have a grass median.

Earlier this Fall, Plymouth considered a similar ban, which was tabled until it could made clear where exactly residents would be allowed to park.
