Pa. lawmakers getting planned 3-percent raise

    Pennsylvania lawmakers will get a 3 percent raise starting next week.

     

    The cost-of-living adjustment will push their pay over $80,000 per year for the first time, reports the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

    On Jan. 1, automatic raises also go into effect for the top executive branch and judicial positions.

     

    The governor’s salary will rice to $183,250. The salary for legislators will rise to $82,026,
