Wonderling served in Governor Ridge’s Administration as a Deputy Secretary of Transportation. He also worked in the private sector as an executive for a software firm and a chemical company.

Wonderling says he will encourage cooperation between government and private enterprise.

Wonderling: Its a great time to take the helm. I know in our history we have periods of economic recession and periods of economic recovery. And I have no doubt that this organization, working collaboratively and encouraging innovators and entrepreneurs, those individuals in the private sector will move much faster from recession to recovery.

Wonderling will begin his new role as the Chamber’s director on August 1st.
