One dead in East Mount Airy shooting
One man is dead after an overnight shooting in East Mount Airy.
WPVI-TV reports an ambulance that was heading to the hospital with a patient came across a man stumbling on the 600 block of Ross Street.
The medics called for backup and when the other crew arrived, they found the man collapsed on the street, suffering from an apparent gun shot wound.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the man’s identity.
